The Illusion of Time

Time is an illusion. It does not really exist in nature. Everything you have ever desired in life you already have in principle. So live as though you already have them.

Tomorrow does not owe you anything, as tomorrow does not really exist. All that you truly have and own is embedded in today. Live your life today as though you already have everything you want.

So does that mean we shouldn't plan for tomorrow? Certainly not! It's foolish not to plan for tomorrow. But we should stop living our life as though tomorrow holds the answer to all our problems; as though tomorrow holds the key to all our dreams and happiness. I know this may sound a bit contradictory, but that's the way it is.

You are not poor today then become rich in the future when you make a lot of money. You're not sad today and become happy tomorrow when you have that thing you're looking for. Because wealth, riches, happiness is all a state of mind. He that is happy today will continue to be happy in the future, regardless of his earthly possessions; as long as he maintains the same state of mind.

The concept of time is all in the mind. It does not really exist in nature. Day and night will continue to take their turn, it has been that way for the last 10,000 years. And it will continue to be that way for the next 10,000 years and beyond. Nothing changes and everything remains the same.

Time is a concept invented by man to differentiate one day and moment from another. The only thing that makes today different from yesterday are the numbers on your calendar. Yesterday is today and today is tomorrow. There are all the same day. We attach meaning, dates and significance to those days. But in truth there are all the same.

Your perceived future is in your mind. And if you live today as though you already have everything you have ever desired, then in principle you already have it.
