Why Men Cheat On Their Spouse

Most women, either deliberately or unknowingly fail to realize that what makes most men cheat is not necessarily sex, but rather the fun, excitement and chase that usually accompanies a new entanglement. Simply put — the hunger for something new!

As soon as most women get to their nuptial homes, they start paying little or no attention to how they look. They keep their hair all messed-up, dress like grandma's and only put-on make-up for ocassions. I'm not a big fan of make-ups myself, but I expect my woman to dress sexy for me (more often than not).

Also, some women don't even bother to call their husband sweet names like “Sweetheart” "My love” “Honey” not even “dear”. I once had the unfortunate experience of meeting a woman who calls her husband “Daddy”. Like seriously! Yet, such a woman still wonders why her husband no longer finds her attractive; like anyone wants to make love with their own daughters?

When it comes to having sex, most Nigerian wives score zero! They just lie down there like a corpse and expect the man to do all the work. Even if she prefers the old missionary style, a little sex moans every now and then wouldn't do her any harm would it?

I once a read a book about how women can spice-up their sex-life with their partners. The book contained a lot of tricks ladies can try to help keep things interesting in the romance department. But offer such a book to most women today and they'd never read it. I'm a guy who took out time to read a book meant for women — then why won't most women read books about their roles as a wife?

A good number of narrow and closed-minded women are mostly found in the religious circle. These ones are never open to new ideas and would rather die than try something new in the bedroom. They are misguided into thinking sex is a sacred and spiritual act that must be performed with utmost sanctity. And some wouldn't even mate with their husbands because they're on the proverbial ‘mountain’. When the Bible clearly states that a woman should not deny her husband sex except they both agree to abstain for a while.

I have not written this article to condone cheating in marriage, only to urge all our married sisters out there to put in a little more effort in this all important area. Do you know that more than 40 percent of marriages that end in divorce is caused by sex related issues! That is alarming if you ask me. Then why aren't we talking and learning about sex?

Men also have their part to play when it comes to keeping things interesting in the sex department. Most men just rush through sex and go to bed as soon as they're done. Forgetting that it's better to have a sexually satisfied woman than a sexually satisfied man in a home. But it'd be far better if both were equally satisfied.

Research shows that it takes men approximately 4 minutes to ejaculate while women need at least 11 to 15 minutes to cum. So what happens within the 7 minutes time-gap? The man is expected to fill-in those gap with some foreplay and kissing the most sensual part of her body. This way he can avoid that akward moment when the man is wrapping-up and the woman is just getting started. Ouch...!

To conclude — Sex in marriage is too important a thing to be left to chance. Both partners should make deliberate efforts to find-out the sexual preferences of their spouse, and try not to judge even if they find it a bit weird. And women should understand that sex for men is more than just an act; it's the total package we're interested in. A woman who wants her husband to stay faithful to her, must remember that she has a role to play in that regard. She must be willing to do whatever it takes to keep the fun and excitement alive.
